Lauren Helen Graham, an American actor and writer. Lauren Helen Graham was born to America. U.S. on March 16 1967 in Honolulu Hawaii. Pisces, her zodiac signs. Her father Lawrence Graham is of Irish origin as is her mom Donna Grant is of English and Scottish origin. Graham moved to New York in 1985 after having completed high school. The program she started was in performing art at New York University, but shortly after, she was moved at Columbia's Women's College Manhattan. American Literature. The demise of M.Y.O.B. in 2000 was a pleasant coincidence which led to her landing the role of Lorelai Gilmore in the T.V. program Gilmore Girls as Lorelai Gilmore. Her reputation as an actress is acknowledged and admired by casting directors and producers. Additionally, she's received numerous nominations including Screen Actors Guild Award in 2001 and 2000, as well as her Golden Globe Award in 2002 for the Best Actress Performance in a TV Series. The well-known American TV show Cold Case Miami, and NY was the first to feature the actress in a single episode. She then appeared in single episodes of several popular TV series, such as The Shield NCIS and Lost. She was a key character in the web series H+ The Digital Series. Some of her biggest Hollywood movies include the smash blockbuster action movie Snitch which starred Dwayne Johnson, and the comedic The Hangover Part III, which features Bradley Cooper. Lela became famous after a long professional career in Hollywood, when she was cast as Angela Valdes in the television series Power. It was this TV show that catapulted Lela to fame and thrust her into the limelight.
