Her birthplace was Santa Monica, California on the 26th of November, 1986. She is the daughter of her dad Vincenzo and her mother Valerie Barba. The family moved into Point Pleasant New Jersey when she was 6 years old. She finished her secondary schooling in New Jersey at Red Bank Catholic High School. Following her graduation from Catholic University with a Bachelor's in Architecture, she continued her studies at the school. In addition, she was a player on the violin at the age of 4, and was also known for her role as Violin Lady. Due to her musical shows, she gained the title as the Violin Girl. She also worked as an instructor of violin for children of the surrounding area. Later at the age of nineteen, she appeared on the 6th season of American Idol and sang the 1976 hit single Free. However, she was eliminated from the contest after having reached 16th. There were several songs she performed, including 'The Christmas Song 2009' as well as 'Out for Blood'. The singer has also been featured on television shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live! Antonella Barba rose to stardom singing in the United States in the sixth season of American Idol. She began her career in film after her elimination from American Idol after six seasons. In 2012 she appeared in Fear Factor as a contestant and played minor roles in a few movies. Daily Mail report that according to reports from November 21st in 2019, she was sentenced to four years imprisonment for conspiring to use of fentanyl to distribute it. She pleaded guilty back in July of possessing more than 4000 grams of fentanyl with the intention of distribution.
