The close friend of Mitchell Angela passed away in a tragic car accident at the age of fifteen years old. Mitchell was devastated by this and composed a song Angel for Angela on her debut album. The book Chicken Soup of the Preteen Soul and the 7th Heaven episode, Nothing Endures But Change also mentions the incident.
